Toni Jordan's debut novel, Addition, was published in 2008 and shortlisted for both the Barbara Jefferis award and the ABIA best general fiction book, and was longlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award. Addition was published in 16 countries and has been optioned for film. Her second novel, Fall Girl, was published in Australia, the UK, Taiwan, Germany and France. Fall Girl is currently being adapted for the theatre. Toni teaches creative writing at RMIT University in Melbourne. She has lectured and presented workshops on writing around Australia, and her short stories and articles have appeared in the Age, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Courier Mail, the Herald Sun, the Australian and the Monthly. Her new novel, Nine Days, is the story of the most important day in the lives of four generations of one family.
