Jacinta Halloran is a Melbourne GP and writer. She has written on medical topics for a wide variety of publications and teaches in medical ethics at the University of Melbourne. Her short stories have been published in The Pen and the Stethoscope, Writer, M.D. and New Australian Stories 2.0. Her first novel, Dissection, was published in 2008. Her second novel, Pilgrimage, is published in 2012.
