Transaction Fees

A sliding scale system applies to internet, phone and box office bookings, on a per transaction basis, as follows:

$0 - $25.00                             $2.00
$25.01 - $75.00                     $3.50
$75.01 - $100.00                   $4.50
$100.01 - $400.00                $5.50
$400.01 +                               $7.00

CARBON OFFSET CHARGE 

As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, Melbourne Writers Festival adds a carbon offset fee of 50c to each transaction, on an opt-out basis. If you don’t wish to participate, simply remove the fee from your booking before proceeding with the transaction.
