Schools Event

Bookshop and Signings

Dymocks, the Official Festival Bookseller, will have titles by participating authors for sale during the festival. Authors will be available to sign copies of their work either in the Festival Bookshop or directly after their sessions.

School bags

For safety and convenience, Melbourne Writers Festival suggests that students do not bring their school bags with them to the festival.

Lunch

Schools' Program participants are welcome to bring their own lunch, however, no food or drink may be consumed inside the festival venues. Cafes and food outlets will be open during the program.

Photo permissions

Melbourne Writers Festival employs the services of a professional photographer to record events throughout the festival. These photos are for archival and marketing purposes and the purchase of a ticket grants implied permission to use the photos taken for these purposes. If you, or a student in your care, do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer at the venue or contact a festival representative on the day.
