Fethiye Cetin

Fethiye Cetin
Fethiye Çetin graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ankara University and has worked actively in movements for the freedom of expression and minority rights.

She acted as Hrant Dink’s lawyer throughout his trials for ‘insulting Turkishness’ and currently represents his family in his murder case.

Her book, My Grandmother has been published in nine languages and received France’s Prix Armenia in 2006. Her second book Torunlar (Grandchildren) is a book of interviews with 25 descendants of Armenian parents across Turkey.
