Jonathan Walker

Jonathan Walker
Jonathan Walker was born in England and educated at the universities of Glasgow and Cambridge. He is currently a senior research fellow at the University of Sydney.

His first book, Pistols! Treason! Murder! – the biography of a Venetian spy – was published in 2007. His most recent book is Five Wounds – an ‘illuminated novel’ – created in collaboration with artist Dan Hallett who also illustrated Pistols! Treason! Murder!.

Jonathan is currently working on a photographic essay entitled Let Us Burn the Gondolas: Venice as a Modern City.
