Eli Horowitz

Eli Horowitz
Eli Horowitz is publisher at McSweeney's, the publishing house started by Dave Eggers (A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius). Over the past seven years, he has edited books and stories by writers including Eggers, William Vollmann, Nick Hornby, Michael Chabon, Joyce Carol Oates, Chris Adrian, and Salvador Plascencia. Horowitz's design work has been honoured by I.D., Print and the American Institute of Graphic Arts.

Before McSweeney's, Eli was employed as a carpenter and wrote science trivia questions tenuously linked to popular films. He was born in Virginia and now lives in San Francisco.
