Jack Heath

Jack Heath
Jack Heath was born in Sydney in 1986. Now he lives in Canberra with his partner, Venetia, their friend, Sam, and their cat, Onyx.

His second novel Remote Control, was shortlisted for science fiction book of the year in the 2007 Aurealis Awards, and he has been named the 2009 ACT Young Australian of the Year. His hobbies include music, magic tricks, and making horrible things happen to fictional people. As well as writing and composing music, Jack teaches a creative writing course at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

Jack has signed a three-book deal with Scholastic US (the publishers of Harry Potter). Third Transmission (August 2009) is his fourth novel.
