Peter Bakowski Peter Bakowski Peter has been writer-in-residence at the B.R. Whiting Library in Rome; the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris; the University of Macau; Suzhou University, Jiangsu Province, China; the Katherine Susannah Pritchard Writers’ Centre in Greenmount, Western Australia; the Hobart Writer’s Cottage in Battery Point, Tasmania; the Arthur Boyd Estate of Bundanon near Nowra, New South Wales; and the Broken Hill Poetry Festival, New South Wales. He has self-organised and self-financed numerous extensive poetry tours of Australia, some tours lasting three months, some tours covering 10,000 kilometres. Peter also specialises in giving poetry readings in private houses to groups of eight or more, anywhere in Australia or overseas.
