Wordplay @ ArtplayFeaturing Meredith Badger, Elise Hurst and passionate advocate for children's publishing, Victoria RyleWordPlay @ ArtPlay links children with their favourite authors and illustrators, giving them the opportunity to learn and engage in writing and illustrating of their own. The program includes readings from Meredith Badger and workshops with well known illustrator Elise Hurst. Aimed at children aged 6-13, WordPlay @ ArtPlay will run on festival weekends at ArtPlay, at Birrarung Marr on the banks of the Yarra River. With a series of workshops, creative games and literary events on offer, all kids aged from 6–13 will find something entertaining and educational to do. Admission is $20 for children, parents are free. Please note that lunch is not provided for kids, and that kids are free to come and go (with their parents) throughout the day.
