Sean Whelan Wallace
Sean M. Whelan is a Melbourne-based writer of prose, poetry and works for performance. Since 2005, Sean has worked extensively with Melbourne rock band The Mime Set. Combining poetry and music, they have written the shows Death to Your Dreams, LCUK: Falling In and Out of Luck and Sweet Cowboy with Emilie Zoe Baker.

In 2007, Sean was one of only two Australian poets to be invited to perform at the Utan Kayu International Literary Biennale in Jakarta. Sean also co-ordinates one of Melbourne's most popular regular spoken word events, Babble, which is held at Bar Open. In 2008, his second book of poetry titled Tattooing the Surface of the Moon, will be published by Small Change Press.
