Christine Wallace

Christine Wallace is a political journalist, biographer and long standing Canberra press gallery journalist. Her controversial biography of Germaine Greer, The Untamed Shrew, was published in Australia in 1997 and was also released in the USA and the UK. Wallace has just published a book about Sir Donald Bradman, The Private Don. She has spent more than twenty years in and around federal politics including a long stint in the Canberra press gallery where she worked for media outlets including The Australian, The Australian Financial Review, Business Review Weekly and ABC TV. Apart from her MBA, Wallace has a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics and history from the ANU and a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney. She is currently a contributing writer for The Weekend Australian Magazine and was also the proprietor of the Das Kapital bar in Narrabundah, which she sold in November 2005.
