Hannah Tinti

Hannah Tinti grew up in Massachusetts, earned her M.A. from New York University's Graduate Creative Writing Program and was awarded residency fellowships from the Blue Mountain Center, Hedgebrook and the New York State Writers Institute. Her short story collection, Animal Cracker, sold in sixteen countries, was a runner up for the PEN/Hemingway Award, a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Pick, a finalist for Bookspan’s Best New Voice Award, a Book of the Month Club and Quality Paperback Book Selection, a Borders Original Voices selection, and an Breakout Book. She is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of One Story. Her first novel, The Good Thief, was recently published by Hachette Australia. (
