Nicolas Rothwell

Nicolas Rothwell
Nicolas Rothwell was born in New York and educated in Switzerland, London and Oxford.

During the ’80s and early ’90s he was a foreign correspondent for the Australian in the Americas, the Pacific and Western and Eastern Europe. Currently the paper’s northern correspondent, he lives in Darwin when he’s not on the road.

In 2006, he won the Walkley Award for coverage of Indigenous affairs. He is the author of Another Country, the award-winning Wings of the Kite-Hawk and the novel Heaven and Earth. Black Inc. will publish his new book, The Red Highway, in 2009.
