David Rakoff
David Rakoff, author of Fraud and Don't Get Too Comfortable, is a regular contributor to The New York Times Magazine, Outside Magazine, GQ, and Public Radio International's This American Life. His writing appeared in Salon, Wired, SEED Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Observer, and Slate. His work was selected for Da Capo's Best Music Writing, The Best American Travel Writing, and The Best American Non-Required Reading. As an actor, he appeared in the plays One Woman Shoe, The Little Freida Mysteries, and The Book of Liz, and can be seen in the films Capote and in Strangers With Candy. Born in Montreal and raised in Toronto, he has lived in New York City since 1982.
