Naomi Ragen Naomi Ragen Naomi Ragen is the author of seven novels, including Jephte’s Daughter, Sotah, The Ghost of Hannah Mendes, The Covenant, and most recently, The Saturday Wife. Her play, Women's Minyan, which explores the oppression of women under the guise of religion, continues to garner awards since its premier in Israel’s National Theatre in 1999.Born in New York City, she has lived in Jerusalem since 1971.
