Gideon Haigh

Gideon Haigh
Gideon Haigh was born in London and raised in Geelong. A journalist for over two decades, he has written more than 20 books, including Asbestos House and Quarterly Essay 10, Bad Company: The Cult of the CEO.

The Green and Golden Age and Inside Story (with David Frith) are the most recent of his numerous publications on cricket. His new book, The Racket, chronicles the fight to legalise abortion in Australia, and will be published in September by MUP. He has written for the Australian and the Guardian, and is a regular contributor to The Monthly.
