Mark DavisMark Davis was born in Geelong, Victoria, in 1959. He has worked as a clerk, builder’s labourer, survey chainman, factory hand, ski-lodge manager, production manager, musician, graphic designer, and academic.
He is the author of Gangland: Cultural Elites and the New Generationalism and has written for most of Australia’s major newspapers, journals and magazines. He teaches in the school of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne.
