Reuben CrossmanReuben Crossman is a relative new-comer to book design. Over the last 10 years he has worked as a graphic designer for commercial design and advertising agencies in New Zealand, the UK and Australia. His experience is in creating visual solutions within areas such as brand development, marketing, advertising, corporate literature, packaging design, environmental graphics, web and multimedia.
He ‘crossed over’ about 18 months ago to work at Murdoch Books in Sydney. ‘New boy’ status notwithstanding, Reuben found himself on the stage a number of times at the 56th Book Design Awards this year. He was awarded the prestigious accolade of Best Young Designer of the Year 2008, and was also the winning designer of the Best Book of the Year with Movida: Spanish Culinary Adventures about the favourite Melbourne tapas restaurant.
Please note that Reuben Cross can no longer attend the festival and in event 2932 he has been replaced with Daniel New.
