John Birmingham
John Birmingham's first book, He Died with a Felafel in his Hand, is a huge cult bestseller, film, stageplay and graphic novel. He started writing genre fiction with the Axis of Time series in 2002. He won the National Award for Non Fiction with, Leviathan: The unauthorised Biography of Sydney which, will be re-relasesd in 2010. John has authored two Quarterly Essays, Appeasing Jakarta and A Time for War. He writes essays and features for a wide range of magazines and newspapers, and was named Columnist of the Year in 2006. He blogs full time for the Fairfax Media website brisbanetimes.com.au. His latest book is Without Warning (Pan Macmillan).
