The studio

Over three years, photographer Ian Lloyd and art critic John McDonald travelled Australia visiting leading artists in their workplaces, taking photographs, recording interviews, and discovering the emotional and practical attachments between their studios and their art. The highlights from their subsequent National Portrait Gallery exhibition and book, Studio, are presented here in a special audio-visual presentation. Chaired by Peter Clarke
