Sponsorship Manager position (update)
MWF has a new Expressions of Interest for a Sponsorship Manager. Deadline is Thursday February 1. This is a new position for the Melbourne Writers' Festival.

Congratulations Elmwood Design!
Our splendid creative partner, Elmwood Design has just won the prestigious, international "1st Place Mobius Awards Statuette" for the design of the Melbourne Writers' Festival 2006 poster.

Says Joe Rogers, Managing Director of Elmwood Design, "Our work in partnership with the Melbourne Writers Festival won a first prize at the prestigious Mobius Awards. This is a great result and shows what can be achieved with a great client and great creative".

It is a great working partnership and the festival is very pleased for Elmwood (we always knew the pencils were a winner!).

The marquees have been packed away; the bookshop has folded into itself for another year; the balloons have been popped and the signs taken down.
